Hop Brook Lake

Description

Hop brook lake 01.jpg
Hop Brook Lake is a park that is run by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The main function of tha park is the dam which serves as protection from flooding. The park contains large pavilions which can be rented out, picnic tables and vollyball nets. The park also has a beach and a swimming area.

Recently an 11 hole Disc Golf course was setup at the park. The first hole starts up the trail behind the bath house near the beach.

The main park including the dam is on the East side of route 63. There are however a series of less traveled trails on the West side of route 63. These trails don't have paved parking lots and in most places there is room for 2-3 cars on the side of the road where the trail head is.
