Description
The Larkin State Bridle Trail used to be a rail that ran from Waterbury, CT to Brewster, NY. It was gifted to the state in 1943 by Dr. Charles Larkin. The trail and the park on route 63 is state property.Towards the middle the trial narrows. This is probably due to a lower amount of traffic on this part of the trail. Weeds have encroached on this part of the trail.
Motor vehicles are prohibited on the trail. Consumption of alcohol while on the trail is also prohibited.
